Koch Equipment LLC announced today the promotion of the company’s former packaging specialist, Conrad Carpenter, to outside sales representative, and the appointment of Jacob Yates, as the company’s newest packaging sales representative.

Steve Kingeter, vice president of sales and marketing, stated, “Mr. Carpenter has nearly five years experience and knowledge in our industry and has been a key performer at Koch Equipment with a proven track record. I am confident that his contributions in outside sales will continue our growth as a leading U.S.-based full-line manufacturer of processing, packaging and labeling equipment.”

Kingeter added, “Mr. Yates brings with him the technical background and industry knowledge required to effectively serve all of our customers’ packaging equipment needs and support our growing operation. I know he will make a positive impact on our business.”

Conrad Carpenter joined Koch Equipment in 2004 as a regional sales representative supporting the company’s modified atmosphere packaging offering with a focus on tray sealing and lidding applications. Mr. Carpenter holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree in environmental science from University of Kansas.

Jacob Yates most recently served as a sales representative for Red Arrow LLC where he gained an exceptional amount of knowledge of processing equipment and technical applications. Prior to joining Red Arrow, Mr. Yates worked as undergrad assistant at Iowa State University’s Meat Laboratory, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in meat and food science.
